Atmosphere Food Venues

Ocean Restaurant – The Filipino Fusion fine dining restaurant overlooks Apo and Siquijor islands, opens for guests from 6pm and requires an advance reservation. The glass-walled kitchen allows for full views of the chefs at work and the adjacent wine tasting room will tempt you into a wine tasting with the Maitre d’ to find your favourite wine for your meal ahead. The resort ask that you are fully dressed at Ocean – but formal attire is not expected. With a combination of Filipino fine dining with a twist and classic international cuisine, they are certain they will dazzle your tastebuds.

Breeze restaurant – Atmosphere’s light and airy all-day dining restaurant, seating up to 90 guests, is a great place to start the day with its spectacular views of the pools, beach and ocean. The restaurant opens for guests with a complimentary combined buffet and cooked-to-order breakfast from 6am until 9.30am and stays open all day until 10pm. With an open show kitchen, the guests will interact with the chefs, whether they are choosing the ingredients for their Asian Wok to be cooked in front of them or selecting their local snapper for the Grill. The purpose-built wood-fired brick oven will be preparing the best pizzas on the coast and bread to complement the pastas and salads. A large selection of Asian and Western dishes with flavours of India, Malaysia, Thailand and of course The Philippines. Many of the dishes also come with tofu instead of fish or meat, or with plant based vegan alternatives. Breeze has its own Kids’ menu and a Dessert menu you don’t want to miss!

Both Breeze and Ocean restaurants have high chairs for children and if the parents would like to enjoy a quiet meal from time to time, they have excellent babysitters at Atmosphere.

Poolside Bar – Around the well-stocked poolside bar, they offer candle-lit dining, as well as the option to eat whilst lounging on the comfortable sofas under an umbrella around the pool.

The Coffee Shop – By the smaller pools, the bakery and coffee shop serve elegant cakes, crispy cookies and decadent desserts to go with the delicious caffe lattes, cocktails and other mouthwatering drinks.

The Treehouse – In the elevated tree house by the sea, they offer special dinners for up to 10 guests. The perfect romantic get-away, you can dine privately with your own waiter whilst listening to the breeze rustling the leaves of the trees. For a private dinner with your own waiting staff, we ask that you order a 3-course dinner and a bottle of wine.

Beach – With your toes in the sand and the view of Apo Island, nothing is more tropical than dinner on the beach. The resort offer beach barbecues regularly for all the guests regularly and private candle-lit dinners are always an option.

The 14 suites look out over the lush green lawn and tropical gardens to the Sanctuary Spa beyond. With the sound of running water vivid from each hammock or day bed, relaxation is a must. A desk, widescreen TV and wireless internet will keep you connected or you can disconnect and submerse yourself in the outdoor rain shower within the natural surroundings of your own private outside pocket garden. Each suite has a California King as standard but twin share is also an option. The Deluxe Suite Room fits two people comfortably but a third bed can be made up for an extra fee and gives sleeping room to a third adult or an older child.

If you prefer the luxury of a spacious lounge with a dining area and a fully fitted kitchen, the eight Garden Apartments are the perfect choice for you. Sliding doors take you seamlessly out onto the veranda with its outdoor lounging area and hammock and each apartment boasts a master bedroom with floor to ceiling picture window. A large, luxurious semi-outdoor bathroom with a solid mahogany vanity counter with “his” and “hers” sinks and a spacious walk-in closet are also part of the amenities. There is an additional day bed/sofa in the bedrooms that can be made up for a third person for an extra fee. The Garden Apartment fits two people comfortably.

The 6 Premium Suites are spacious deluxe rooms for two guests, with added luxuries and details for extra comfort. With a large living space comprising of a sizeable bedroom and lounging area, a lovely indoor/outdoor bathroom with double sinks as well as a well-appointed terrace, you will certainly be sleeping in the lap of luxury. The spacious living area has the choice of a California King or a Twin bed setup, a lounging area with an opulent sofa, as well as added amenities such as a Nespresso machine. The Premium Suites are designed for either double or twin occupancy with the possibility of an additional guest being added with an extra bed setup.

A large luxurious room with plenty of space for two double beds or one double and one twin bed set-up, a seating area with comfortable lounging chairs and a 48 inch flat screen TV. The extensive semi-outdoor bathroom has double sinks, a rain shower and a large pocket garden. With a large living space comprising of a sizeable bedroom and lounging area, a lovely semi-outdoor bathroom with double sinks, and a well-appointed terrace with a private infinity pool (almost 20 sqm), you will certainly be sleeping in the lap of luxury. The Premium Pool Suites have a California King size bed and are designed for either double or twin occupancy, with the possibility of an additional guest being added with an extra bed setup (sofa bed).

The four elevated Penthouses are Atmosphere’s most spacious type of accommodation, suitable for four guests. The floor area of over 200 square meters allows for a beautiful spacious arrangement comprising of the master bedroom and guest bedroom, modern en-suite bathrooms and an open plan fully-fitted kitchen overlooking a huge living and dining area. The vast external balcony has room for both dining and lounging outside whilst in the comfort of your elevated penthouse. The second-floor penthouse fits four people in two separate bedrooms.

COGON | MAX DEPTH 30M
Cogon is named after the Filipino ‘cogon’ grass that lines the shore in front of the dive site. This dive site is known for its sometime fierce currents and is therefore only recommended for advanced divers with drift diving experience. The dive site starts on a sandy slope, with an impressive array of corals, look out for the family of bump head parrot fish that sometime frequent this area. As the dive site progresses the topography changes to an impressive wall dive. The current ensures there is a variety of marine life in evidence and keep an eye open in the blue for the huge schools of big eye trevallies.

MAMSA | MAX DEPTH 30M
Mamsa is the local word for ‘Jacks’ and often there is a large school of Jacks to be seen at this dive site. Again prone to strong current, this is also a drift dive for the more experienced diver. Starting on a steep slope the topography is quite unique as it turns into a host of underwater boulders which later joins a steep wall covered in soft corals. Drift along and keep your eyes open for the occasional hawksbill turtle.

KAN URAN | MAX DEPTH 30M+
Kan Uran is situated on a point where two currents meet. The temperature change can usually be felt as the currents mix and occasionally you can feel the turbulent water. The dive site is a wall dive with many overhangs and crevices which ends on a steep slope at the start of the marine sanctuary. A dive site that is suitable for most levels assuming the current is not so strong.

The Sanctuary Spa at Atmosphere resort in the Philippines is synonymous with Wellness. Their core belief is that establishing a balance between a healthy mind, body and spirit is the key to successful healthy living. The luxury spa, one of the best spas in Asia, promotes physical and mental relaxation. They have a variety of treatments such as massages, facials, specific detox spa treatments and full detox programs, meditation and life coaching.

The Fitness center has a large Warrior Gym facility with personal training available, TRX, as well as guided mountain biking and guided running.

The tree top yoga platform overlooks the ocean and we have yoga classes every day, suitable for all levels and with private classes available.

The spa at Atmosphere in Dumaguete is set in a tranquil tropical garden with streams and ponds, beautiful flowers and trees. Four outdoor pavilions have space for two guests in each, each with its own private bathroom. There is also a heated pool present in the grounds for watsu (water shiatsu) treatments and relaxation.

Atmosphere also boasts a nourishing healthy living food menu. The health menu is the perfect complement to the pursuit of overall health and wellness and also a feast for your taste buds.
