BBQ Grills
At Compass Point Dive Resort, they take grilling seriously and have BBQ grills located throughout the property. As each condo is equipped with a kitchen, most guests cater some of their own meals and often set one meal during their stay as a BBQ night. They have both propane gas powered grills and old fashioned charcoal grills too. Grill barefoot on the beach or go poolside by the hot tub. When you get home and the weather is freezing cold, you’ll always remember that evening in the Cayman Islands grilling under stars.
The commercial grade propane gas grills are located by the poolside building and offer a shaded cabana and area for food preparation. This area can easily accommodate families or small groups.
The beach grills are charcoal grills and are ideal for smaller scale grilling and for those who want that traditional smoked flavor. Charcoal is not provided and may be purchased from the frontdesk or local grocery stores. Matches are provided in your welcome basket in the condos.

The Beach
The Beach at Compass Point Dive Resort is located in two areas, at either side of the property. Sunrise Beach is located on the Eastward side of the property, directly in front of the one bedroom oceanfront condominium building. Sunset Beach is located on the Westward side of the property, directly in front of the two bedroom oceanfront condominium building.

The beach areas are secluded and uncrowded, decorated with coconut palm trees and a hammock or two. Sun Loungers with shades are always in place for your enjoyment and comfort.
The beach is white sand and the shoreline is rocky with limited swim access. The advantage of a protected lagoon and an iron-shore rock coastline is that buildings are permitted to be built much closer to the waterline. The oceanfront condos are steps away from the ocean- it doesn’t get any closer.
