RESORT AREA
Bali Dive Resort has a large spacious green garden and is located right next to the beach and the sea. They have a 14×7.5m pool with a shallow and a deeper (3.5m) end, big enough to swim laps.
The resort have an amazing chef who cooks up delicious food for your travels and the renowned Balinese hospitality! Restaurant & Bar is located right next to the beach so that you can enjoy your meals overlooking the ocean.
Bali Dive Resort and Spa is located in Tukad Abu, Tulamben and they have a beach of black volcanic sand in front of the resort, making diving around ‘Seraya’ particularly easy to get in and out of the water. If not for diving, then perhaps for a refreshing swim in the ocean or maybe snorkeling.
ACCOMMODATION
Bali Dive has a total of 17 spacious rooms available over a large garden area, which preserves the feeling of peace and tranquility. They have 9 bungalows scattered in the garden, all with patio and sea view. In addition to the bungalows, they have two separate two-story villas – Villa Jepun & Villa Pandan, both with separate garden areas, large terrace- or balconies and a private pool. Each villa also has a fully equipped kitchen with a large dining area.
The rooms in the Villas can either be booked separately or booked as a whole villa for a bigger group. Staying in the Villas offer the ultimate feeling of privacy and comfort!
Villa Jepun has 3 spacious deluxe rooms (2 doubles & 1 twin room) and 1 large family room (1 double bed + 1 single bed). All rooms have a side sea view and a view out over our lush garden.
Villa Pandang has 2 spacious Deluxe Rooms (1 double and 1 twin) and 2 large family rooms (1 double bed + 1 single bed). Only the two family rooms, located upstairs, have a side sea view. Deluxe rooms overlook the private garden and pool.
All rooms, bungalows as well as Villa rooms, include porch/patio, AC, ceiling fan, living room area with sofa, TV table & flat screen TV, refrigerator, mini bar, safety deposit box, bathroom with shower (hot & cold water), towels, bathrobes and hairdryer. Breakfast for 2 people (3 in Family Rooms), served in the restaurant is also included in the room price.
DIVING
Bali Dive opened its doors in April of 2014 and is appropriately placed in Tukad Abu – also known as ‘Seraya’ (Tulamben, Bali, Indonesia), just 5 minutes from Tulamben township and its most famous dive site ‘US Liberty Wreck’ with its large family of Bumphead Parrotfish that made this wreck home.
The House reef along ‘Serayas’ black sand beach is world famous for its Muck Diving and is a heaven for every underwater photographer! Here you will find lots of unique macro subjects such as harlequin- & tiger shrimps, seahorses & pygmy seahorses, several kinds of rare nudibranchs, the rare mimic octopus, pipe- and gostpipefish, frogfish, seamoth, Rhinopias, great variety of moray eels and lots of juvenile species!
In addition to ‘Saraya’ and the Liberty wreck, Tulamben area (including Kubu) offers a huge variety of stunning coral reefs and slopes with a great quantity and diversity of species, for both beginners as well as more experienced divers. You can find almost everything here, from tiny macro to sharks and everything in between. If you are lucky you might spot a grey reef or whale shark that pass by a couple of times a month. And when the conditions are right and the cold come up from the deep there are even occasional sights of mantas and the incredible mola mola (Sunfish).
The on site dive center can offer everything a diver could possibly require. Large selection of dive sites (well known as well as still less known dive sites), complete set of rental equipment, good & safe storage of private scuba gear, a camera room (now under construction), classroom with a flat-screen TV for workshops and similar activities, books for species identification, the choice of diving either air or 32% Nitrox, less than 15 min to all dive sites (including the further away dive site Kubu), boat dives directly from the resort and the House Reef right off the beach! The resort guarantee experienced dive guides with small groups, and they can offer affordable and interesting dive packages tailored for all kinds of sport divers! They also offer early morning dives at the Liberty Wreck if sought after and they do of course offer night dives.
Most of the dives are shore dives but there are some interesting sites that can only be reached by boat, all of which are reached within 15 minutes from the resort.
Although the typical diver at Bali Dive might already be an experienced diver and perhaps underwater photographers, they do offer a full range of courses for the those who have not yet discovered the beauty of the underwater world. With both English- and Swedish speaking instructor available and a wide range of SSI’s courses and specialties available, there is no reason why any non-diving travelers couldn’t give Scuba diving a go! For those who do not dive but wish to Snorkel the resort offer that as well.
SPA
In addition to diving, they offer well selected, soothing and relaxing treatments in the spa & wellness center. With trained and skilled massage therapists they hope to make everyone’s stay with them a pure pleasure. The resort spa only use high quality, purely natural, products for the treatments.
If desired, spa treatments can be included in dive and accommodation packages.
