Dive Damai’s newest vessel, MY DAMAI II was constructed in Tanjung Bira, South Sulawesi by Pak Hadji Baso. Pak Hadji Baso is one of the most respected master boat builders in the traditional Indonesian boat building comunity of Bira and was also the builder of Dive Damai’s first vessel, MY DAMAI I.
MY DAMAI II has a deck length of 40 meters and a beam of 9 meters at its widest point. It has been built to an uncompromising standard and fitted out with all the latest diving, navigation and safety equipment to ensure that the level of service appreciated on our first vessel is maintained and, where possible, improved upon. The new vessel is slightly larger than the first ensuring three large outside deck areas with an outside dining facility, including the famous massage and spa treatment area and plenty of extra lounging and sunbathing space. The crew to passenger ratio is the same as the first vessel.
The below deck accommodation has been designed to accommodate single or twin occupants in a level of luxury not seen on another vessel in Indonesia. Each cabin boasts a private shower and head with a queen-size bed and a separate day bed. The cabins measure approximately 20sq.mts (225 sq.ft) each and have been finished with the highest quality furnishings. The stern staterooms are over 400 sq.ft each and boast their own private deck with loungers, a super-king size bed, day beds, two desks and ensuite shower and separate head.
The dive systems have been made even more accommodating on the new vessel. The dive station is larger and is served by large individuals rinse tanks. The camera room has been enlarged also. The 4 diver to 1 guide ratio that Dive Damai customers enjoy so much on the MY DAMAI I has, of course, been maintained and they have added 2 custom designed high speed tender boats.

A LA CARTE
Diving A La Carte is a new concept created by Dive Damai and directed to give the ultimate personal service.
Logistics permitting Dive Damai allows you to dive where and when you wish. It is their aim to bring you as much of the underwater highlights of the itineraries as possible. They do not set dive time limits, they do not tell you that you cannot redive a dive site, they will bend over backwards to fulfill your every wish to return to a location time and again.
But it’s not just the diving…
They aim to satisfy every desire. That means you have a menu choice, if you have any special food requests the Damai crew will do everything in their power to ensure your favourite foods are onboard. A La Carte reflects your freedom to choose and our desire to fulfill.
Diving has been the Damai specialty for the last few years. With a ratio of 4 divers to dive guide, the largest camera station, a personal rinse tank or unlimited diving among their main features, they provided un unprecedented quality of service for their diving guests.
The Dive Damai explore remote areas, where seldom others venture, searching for the unique combination of diving and adventure that they like to share with their guests. Throughout the year, Indonesia offers some of the healthiest reefs on the planet, and certainly the most diverse waters.
Itineraries include but are not exclusive to: Raja Ampat, Komodo, Banda Sea, Forgotten Islands, Triton Bay, Togean Islands, Alor, Gorontalo and Cenderawasih. LUXURIOUS CHARTER
Chartering one of the Damai vessels will give you the chance to select the route you prefer to do, we will tailor make the trip. The advantages are multiple; the chance to stay as long as you want in one spot without having to be worried about the preferences of the rest of the customers is an obvious one. Being able to spend your diving holidays with your friends with the whole crew dedicated entirely to you…it doesn’t get more personalised.
Price Basis :
All prices for 2015 onwards are based on sharing a double or twin cabin and are per person per night in US Dollars
Master Cabins 5 and 6 carry a USD50 per person per night supplement
Single Cabins carry a USD175 per person per night supplement
Inclusions :
Return transfers to/from the airport to the vessel or from/to any hotel and the airport the day of embarkation or disembarkation, within a distance of 20km
Accommodation with A/C in twin or double bed cabin with en-suite showers and toilet.
All meals and drinks while on board (excluding wine and Spirits). One glass of wine per person each night will be complimentary
Air Tanks, weight belt and weights.
